Flesh and Blood card legality: banned lists, Living Legend, formats

Legend Story Studios keeps one Card Legality Policy for every format; it is the source of truth and this page is a reading of it, through the fab-cube dataset of Nov 4, 2026 checked against the policy. 112 cards are banned somewhere, 55 heroes and weapons have retired as Living Legends, 20 cards are restricted there. Click a card to open it.

Last change to the lists: Sep 18, 2026, the newest date in effect fab-cube records; checked against LSS's policy page on Oct 31, 2026; dataset refreshed Nov 4, 2026.

The six formats at a glance

What a deck is in each format the dataset tracks, as LSS's own format pages put it; draft, sealed and the team formats are on LSS's formats page. In every constructed format a card joins a card-pool only if its class and talents are a subset of the hero's; generic cards fit any hero.

Banned cards by format

A banned card cannot be registered in that format at all. Each colour of a pitch cycle is its own card and its own scan; the policy page carries the dates and the announcements.

Classic Constructed 45 cards

Blitz 0 cards

Nothing banned.

LSS cleared the Blitz banned list on 1 January 2026: every card is legal except the special-use promos.

Silver Age 84 cards

The heroes here are benched for the season by developer and community vote rather than banned; the dataset files a bench as a ban until it lifts.

Living Legend

A hero that wins enough retires from Classic Constructed and Blitz. Heroes earn Living Legend points for tournament wins, more for the biggest events and multiplied by how long they have been legal. LSS runs a check every Monday (United States time): a hero at 1,000 points or more becomes a Living Legend, and that hero and its signature weapon stop being legal from the Friday of that week. They stay playable in the Living Legend format, which exists for them.

The points per event type and the multipliers change between seasons, so they are not copied here: LSS's Living Legend page has the current table and the live leaderboard.

Retired from Classic Constructed 21 heroes

Each hero with the weapon that retired on the same Friday; the hero carries the coloured ring. Hover for the date.

Restricted in Living Legend 20 cards

The Living Legend format has a restricted list beside its bans: cards that may still be registered, but only within the limit LSS's policy sets for them. The policy page states the current rule.

Lists as fab-cube recorded them at the dataset's refresh of Nov 4, 2026, with the announcements it had not yet recorded applied at build; a change LSS announces takes effect on its own date and reaches this page at the next refresh. Card names and images © Legend Story Studios.
