A hero has a class, sometimes a talent too, and the deck may only hold cards of that class and talent beside the Generic ones. The 5,304 cards of the dataset read by class (19) and talent (12).
By card count, Generic first. The weapon types are what the class’s weapons are, the keywords those the class owns rather than shares.
Cards any hero may put in the deck, whatever the class: the glue of every list.
Weapon attacks sharpened by reactions; the class lives on the sword in its hands.
Items and boosted attacks from the top of the deck, gadgets and guns built up over the game.
Heavy, costly attacks that crush, and blocks big enough to absorb a whole turn.
Attacks that leave runechants and arcane damage behind, spells and steel in one hand.
Big attacks that cost cards from the hand, an intimidating force that trades hand size for power.
Stealth attacks and contracts that reward hitting the opponent's deck and hand.
Fast chains of attacks with go again, each combo unlocking the next.
Phantasm attacks and auras under other cards, big until they are seen through.
Arcane damage from spells that is not blocked like a hit; surge and fusion push it higher.
Arrows loaded into the arsenal and shot with effects on hit, from a distance.
Treasures and crew; the newest class of the Marvel Coast, with the sea on its side.
Dead cards brought back, the graveyard as a resource.
Songs and performances, a class the ready-made products introduced.
A class of a handful of cards and heroes, named by the dataset from the Dungeons products.
A few hero and item cards around trading; the deck of a merchant is the goods on offer.
Shiyana and her cards: a hero that copies the opponent's class.
A handful of cards around stealing, from the demi-heroes of the arena.
One card so far, a hireling without a class of its own.
A talent sits beside a class on a hero (a Shadow Runeblade, a Lightning Wizard) and opens the talent’s cards to the deck.
Blood Debt and loss of life, the dark side of Runeblades, Brutes and Necromancers.
Fast fusion attacks and arcane bursts, the element of speed.
Soul and charge, the holy side: cards banished to the soul fuel the hero.
Dragons and their attacks, transform and legendary allies from the fire.
The elemental heroes, who fuse Earth, Ice and Lightning into their cards.
Chi and cloaked equipment; the Mystic talent gathers and spends its own counter.
Decompose and meld, the slow and heavy element.
The crowd cheers for the favoured heroes of the arena.
Freeze and channel; the element that slows the opponent down.
The crowd boos the villains of the arena, who thrive on it.
The newest talent: cure, veil and the unpredictable.
The royal heroes of the Hunted season, a talent only hero cards carry so far.
235 cards carry two classes and may go into either hero’s deck; 977 cards carry a class and a talent and need a hero with both.
Generic cards fit every deck, which is why they are the most printed; a card with no class line is a token, a resource or a hero of its own.
Counts are cards in the dataset at its last refresh. A signature keyword is one where at least 40% of the cards carrying it belong to the group, 5 cards or more. Card names and images © Legend Story Studios.
