What's new

Every release, newest first - what changed and where to find it.

What's new

  1. FaB Binder in Chinese, German and Korean

The whole site now reads in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), German and Korean too: pick the language from the flag menu in the header or in your account settings. As with the other languages, the interface, the landing page, Market Watch and the Learn reference pages are translated; card names and rules text stay English, as printed.

  2. Market Watch shows what actually sold: most traded, top sales, deals, and sold prices on every chart

Market Watch now shows what actually sold, not only what is listed. A new "Sales this week" section after the week's movers shows the most traded versions, with "5+/day" badges where a card sold more than five copies a day, and the biggest single sales with condition and date. Under it, "Deals right now" lists versions whose lowest listing sits at least a quarter under what they really sold for Near Mint in the last 30 days, the price being the shop link. Every mover now carries a check answering "did anyone pay the new price?", full when a Near Mint sale did, dimmed when the card sold but not at the new price yet. And every card's price chart, on its page and in the inspector, shows the version's Near Mint sales as dots with the price paid in the tooltip.

  3. Learn in five languages, card types, classes and talents, a Learn menu

Every Learn reference page now reads in Japanese, Portuguese, French and Spanish too. Two new pages: Card types and anatomy (the 17 card types with counts and example scans, the equipment slots, the symbols on the card frame and the pitch colours) and Classes and talents (every class and talent with its heroes, weapon types, signature keywords and example cards). The keyword glossary closes with the keywords no release note ever named, and a side menu on every Learn page jumps between them. Card legality follows the 2026 ban-list changes: the Blitz reset, Orb-Weaver Spinneret and others unbanned in Classic Constructed. Also: set pages and the rarities page show LSS's pack odds, the card scans on the Learn pages open the inspector, and the main menu icons have colours.

  4. Pockets that stay put, selling binders, Market Watch in five languages

Pockets now stay where they belong. With "Keep printings of the same card together" on, you can swap a card for its promo or foil version and it keeps its place in the binder, and a hero's young and adult cards sit side by side whichever printings you own. A test now watches a whole Hunted binder pocket by pocket, so a future change cannot quietly reshuffle your pages. Sharing a binder got a selling mode: every card you own shows its current price and the ones you still want are marked as wanted, ready to send to a buyer. The binder table sorts by any column, adding +1, +2 or +3 copies keeps the printing, foil and to-buy state of the pocket you clicked, and the print view shows last sold prices, can price only the cards you still need, and carries the foil and rarity marks. Market Watch now speaks Japanese, Portuguese, French and Spanish and fits a phone. The card database sorts by newest, name, rarity, price, cost, power or defense and has a search box on phones. Every upcoming product shows its release date, Outbreak previews included, and Armory Deck Malice is complete.

  5. Heroes and sets in Learn, last sold prices, exports for Dragon Shield and Fabrary

The Learn section has two new pages. Heroes shows every hero as a fighting game's character select: click a portrait for the young and adult cards side by side, the ability, where each version is legal and its Living Legend status, the specialization cards and the class pool, every printing with its cheapest market price, and the demi-heroes a hero turns into. Sets and products lists every set grouped by kind - boosters, Blitz and Armory decks, Silver Age chapters, starter decks and promo pools - with release date, card count, rarity mix and finishes, and explains how a collector id like 1HP362 reads. Wherever a card is named, the rarity now shows as the symbol printed on the card and foils wear their RF, CF and GF chips: on every pocket, in the collection and binder tables, across Market Watch. On prices: the inspector and the card pages show TCGplayer's last sold price beside market and from, gathered daily, and Brazilian accounts see prices in reais. Export CSV, from the collection or from any binder, now asks for the shape and writes a Dragon Shield or a Fabrary file that imports straight into those tools. Also: a binder can run the full width of the window (an account preference) and its toolbar follows the scroll, Market Watch lives at /market-watch, the desktop nav has icons, and a tab left open across an update reloads itself instead of breaking.

  6. Search like FaBrary, and foil pockets by rule

The card search understands prefixes, in the same syntax as FaBrary and the official Card Vault: class:ninja, t:hero, k:go again, set:wtr, r:>=majestic, d:>3, pitch:red, artist:lindner, is:reprint. Combine them, negate with - (or !p for cards with no pitch), use , for either and + for both, and quote words with spaces. Plain words still match names, rules text and keywords, and now set codes and collector numbers too ("wtr167"). A "Search syntax" link under every search field opens the full table. Also new: when a binder adds cards by filter, you can ask for a finish - rainbow foil where the printing has one, or the best foil it comes in (cold foil, else rainbow, else standard) - next to "Add cards as playsets" in the new-binder wizard and in Add cards, saved in the binder's recipe.

  7. Henrique Lindner is our featured artist

Our second featured artist is Henrique Lindner, the Brazilian illustrator behind Shred, Art of Desire, Step Between and Runeblood Incantation, 71 cards in all: his page carries every card he painted as a binder, three favourites and his links. A big thank you to Isuardi Therianto for being our first - his page stays where it was, one click away from the new one. Market Watch also grew up: the week's biggest risers and fallers and each marketplace's top three show as card scans, the most valuable cards are split between TCGplayer and CardTrader, every class has its own list with a 70-day price chart, the lists are shorter with a "show more", and a menu that stays on screen jumps to each section. Prices now ignore a seller's parked listing on either marketplace.

  8. Market Watch, set pages in numbers, rules updates

A new Market Watch page (in the nav) lists the cards that rose and fell the most over the last 7 and 30 days, the most valuable cards overall and per class, and what one copy of every card costs - refreshed daily, with a taste of it on the landing page. Every set page opens with the set in numbers: cards by rarity and class, its five most valuable versions, the cost to complete it in standard and in foil, and how the set's price moved since release. The Learn section has a Rules updates page: every rules change since 2021 with the rulings it retired and what applies now. An About page (in the footer) says who makes the site and how to reach us - we are @FabBinder on X.

  9. Rulings the rules updates retired

Legend Story Studios never edits a release note, so a card's rulings stay worded as on release day even after the comprehensive rules change. We walked the rules change log from 2021 to June 2026: 36 rulings across 65 cards are now shown struck through under "Older rulings" on the card page and in the inspector, each with the rule that replaced it and what applies now - among them the Link Step (gone since January 2025), attack reactions during your ally's attack (allowed since June 2025), and tokens being cards. A further ten, where the outcome changed, wait for a judge's confirmation. Also: new binders and the Add cards sweep add cards as playsets by default (3 of each, 1 of heroes, equipment, weapons, mentors and Legendary cards - a switch turns it off), the Recipe tab lists what the recipe asks for, and PIMP mode now says so: pinned pockets wear a ✨ chip and the sort order carries a note, because a Fabled card on page one is not a sorting bug.

  10. A set binder holds that set's cards

By default a binder files the first printing of every card. Now, when the filter names a set (or an artist), the binder holds that set's printing instead: a binder on Armory Deck Aurora gets the Aurora Snatch, not the Welcome to Rathe one. A binder you built earlier on a set filter shows the set's printing in the Recipe tab of Add cards. Also new: the signature on signed cards is a handwritten "Signed", and Switch printing lists one row per foiling with every price and its history. Fixed: on a phone, tapping a price chart showed the wrong date (the previous tap's); the first tap answers now.

  11. Flag your artist-signed cards

Right-click a pocket you own and mark it "Signed by the artist": the card wears a signature in the binder and in the card inspector, the binder's Details line counts them, the CSV export carries a Signed column, and the print view can list the copies you still want signed. When a binder pulls a card from the Shoebox and you own a signed copy, that one goes first - a switch in your account settings turns that off. Also fixed: a pocket whose foil differs from the default of the printing now shows and switches the foil it really holds, and a version switch moves the pocket you clicked instead of the last one.

  12. Switch a printing from the pocket

Right-click a pocket (touch and hold on a phone) and pick "Switch printing…": every version of the card side by side with its scan, set, collector number and prices, one button per foiling, and a switch to move every copy of the row at once. "Switch foiling" changes the foil of the same printing in one click. Extended-art foils now show their own picture and note.

  13. Usurp the Shadow Throne rulings

The official release notes for Usurp the Shadow Throne are in: every IAR card page carries its rulings, and the keyword glossary has the seven new mechanics (Binds, Decay, Incarnate, Shadow Resist, Traverse, Unique, Usurp). Also new: the print view draws the binder as pocket pages and makes a buy list with card images to hand to a friend at an event.

  14. Binders with back faces save again

A binder created with "back-face rows" on (the Mystic template has it) could not be saved to your account and looked lost after a refresh - fixed; recreate the binder if yours vanished. Also: a save the account refuses now says so instead of retrying silently, the row menu removes one version of a card without its other printings, and adds +1, +2 or +3 copies in one click.

  15. Share a binder on its own

Each binder now has its own Share switch: turn it on and anyone with the link can view that binder, read-only, whether or not your profile is public. The profile switch keeps gating your stats and your collection.

  16. Usurp the Shadow Throne previews

The card database now carries every card previewed so far for Usurp the Shadow Throne (IAR, out 2026-09-25) and the Armory Deck Malice. Unreleased cards show in the database and on set pages but stay out of binders until their set releases.

  17. Search by rules text and keyword

The card search - on the landing page, the database, your collection and Add cards - matches names, keywords and rules text: "contract", "banish the top card" or "leave no witness (red)" all find the card.

  18. Share your binders and collection

A public profile now lists your binders and your collection, read-only, with a Share button on each. Anyone can copy a shared binder into their account as a pull list.

  19. Value over time

Charts of what your binders, your collection and every card are worth over the last ten weeks, on TCGplayer and CardTrader, refreshed every Monday.

  20. A page for every class, talent, type and artist

Landing pages for each class, talent, card type, rarity, format, keyword and artist, with the matching cards - the same lists the filters give you, now linkable.

  21. Dragon Shield import and History Pack 2

The Shoebox imports Dragon Shield scanner CSVs alongside Fabrary ones, and History Pack 2 collector numbers file onto the right cards.

  22. Rulings and keyword notes

Every card carries its official rulings from the release notes, and the Learn section has a keyword glossary linked to the cards that use each keyword.

  23. Profiles

Your collection's stats on one page - counts, value, set completion with trophies, chase rarities, top artists - with an optional public profile at /u/<name>.

  24. Accounts

Sign in with email, Google or Discord to keep every binder and your whole collection in sync on every device.
