Weeping Battleground (Yellow)

When playing Weeping Battleground, its ability is an optional targeted effect. You may choose to not target a hero and doing so means none of the effects banishing an aura or dealing damage are generated. On the other hand, if you wish to use the optional effect, you must target a hero when playing Weeping Battleground; however, you choose whether or not to banish an aura from your graveyard when Weeping Battleground resolves. If you banish an aura from your graveyard this way, you will deal 1 arcane damage to that targeted hero. Then Weeping Battleground is added as a defending card on the combat chain.

When resolving Weeping Battleground, there is no priority between any of the effects generated by the card (e.g. banishing an aura card, dealing arcane damage).
