Hoodwink (Blue)

Hoodwink’s instant activated ability can only be activated while it is in your hand. When it resolves, it generates a shielding-prevention effect that prevents the next X arcane damage that would be dealt to your hero this turn. This can be over separate events of damage (i.e. 2 arcane damage then 1 arcane damage, or three instances of 1 arcane damage). If damage this would apply to is unpreventable, it will not reduce the total remaining amount of prevention available.

X is equal to the sum of the base of all cards discarded to pay the activation cost of its ability, including Hoodwink.
