Evo Upgrade - When this attacks a hero, they reveal X cards from their hand, where X is the number of Evos you have equipped. Choose an action card with

less than X, then add it to this chain link as a defending card.

Rulings

From the Bright Lights + Round the Table release notes

This only triggers when you attack a hero.
The player that is attacked chooses what cards to reveal. If they have less than X cards in their hand, they reveal all of their cards.
You may not choose an action card revealed this way if it does not have the property.
When a card is added to the chain link as a defending card, it is considered to have defended for the purposes of effects (e.g. Galvanize).

Evo Upgrade is an ability label keyword.
Evo Upgrade effects count the number of cards you have equipped that have the subtype Evo.
